About Dr. Mangesh Darekar

Dr. Mangesh Darekar has been a practising orthopaedic joint replacement and arthroscopy surgeon in Sinhagad Road and Deccan for the past 8 years. He has been practising for the past ten years.

Dr. Mangesh earned his MBBS in 2006 from D.Y. Patil Medical College in Kolhapur, his D.Ortho in 2011 from Hardikar Hospital in Pune, and his DNB in 2012 from Lokmanya Medical Foundation in Pune.

He did his fellowship in joint replacement in 2014 at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and also did his postdoctoral fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at St. Anna Hospital in Germany.

Dr. Mangesh specialises in advanced trauma surgery, joint replacement procedures of the hip, knee, and shoulders, and arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder and knee.

He has also completed his FIFA-certified diploma in football medicine and has extensive experience in shoulder and knee surgery, with good clinical outcomes from these surgeries.
